2016 Oticon Foundation & Project H.E.A.V.E.N. Hearing Mission Trip

Gig Harbor, WA – This past October, Dr. Laura Day-Moran, owner of Harbor Audiology & Hearing Services, and a team of medical professionals, departed to Fiji to provide free services to locals without access to regular medical care.

Over a three-day period, the volunteers performed more than 400 hearing tests and fit almost 300 hearing aids, Oticon Foundation providing care to a total of 500 patients free of charge.

The Oticon Foundation worked with Project H.E.A.V.E.N. to coordinate the hearing mission in in Lomawai Village.r

Dr. Day-Moran has previously volunteered in Argentina with the Oticon Foundation and has also volunteered seven times in Guatemala with Healing the Children.

Harbor Audiology Owner Recognized at Gala

Harbor Audiology & Hearing Services owner Dr. Laura Day-Moran was recently recognized by the Alliance of Women Owned Businesses (AWOB) during a May gala.

Dr. Day-Moran received the 2014 Crystal Star Honor at the alliance’s Crystal Star Awards Gala. In addition to owning Harbor Audiology locations in Gig Harbor and Tacoma, she was recognized for her contributions to the Gig Harbor Mid-day Rotary and her volunteer work, providing hearing tests to needy children in Guatemala.
